Contabo
Cheap VPS and dedicated servers with lots of RAM and disk for the money; fine for a starter site, limited for heavy traffic.

We started on a Contabo VPS. It is cheap for the RAM and disk you get, but disk and CPU performance limited our database-heavy sites as they grew, and we eventually moved to a dedicated server. Good for starting out and for staging.
👍 Good
- Very cheap
- Lots of RAM/disk per euro
👎 Watch out
- Noisy neighbours, slower disks
- We outgrew it
Verdict: Good first VPS; plan to move when traffic grows.
