A pop-under-only network with an API, anti-adblock code and fast approval; a good second network or the only one for sites other networks refuse.
PopAds does one thing: pop-unders. We run it on several smaller sites and on one site that a bigger network declined.
What we learned running it
- Per pop it paid about the same as ExoClick’s pop-under on our smaller sites ($0.35-1.00 per 1,000 pops depending on country), and less on one site whose visitors are mostly tier-1. Compare per site, not network-wide.
- Its anti-adblock code rotates loader domains. Fetch the code server-side through their API and serve it from your own domain, refreshed every few hours, instead of pasting a static snippet.
- Frequency (pops per visitor per 24 h and minimum delay between pops) is set in the code, so you can tune it per site.
- Untick the formats you don’t want in the dashboard (push, back-button redirects, tab-under): they hurt mobile UX and can earn you a browser “abusive experience” warning.
