PorkbunWe use it
Low-cost registrar with free WHOIS privacy, an API and no problem with adult domains; our registrar for every site.

All our domains are registered at Porkbun. Prices are low, WHOIS privacy is free, and pointing nameservers to Cloudflare takes a minute. When you buy a previously used domain, check its history first: look at the Wayback Machine for what it used to be and run a backlink check for spammy links (we disavowed millions of spam links that came with one domain).
