How to Write Adult Video Titles That Rank: Dos and Don’ts
The title is the strongest on-page signal a video has, and it’s also what a searcher reads before deciding to click. Most tube titles waste both. Here is what works.
The formula
[Who] + [does what] + [one distinctive detail], in plain words, 40-70 characters.
- Good: Tattooed redhead rides her boyfriend on the balcony
- Good: Petite brunette gives a slow sloppy blowjob in POV (adult performers only; see the warning below about youth-coded words)
- Bad: HOT!!! SEXY GIRL FUCK HD 1080p NEW 2026
- Bad: amateur ass bigass bigtits boobs cock deepthroat (tag soup)
Put the most-searched element first. If a performer is known by name and you’re sure of the identity, the name goes first: people search names.
Dos
- Describe what actually happens. Visitors who get what the title promised stay and come back.
- Use the words searchers use, found in your Search Console and Yandex query reports.
- One main idea per title. Secondary terms go in the description and tags.
- Keep it unique. Two videos with the same title compete with each other. If the same video appears on several of your sites, give each copy its own title and description.
- Fix machine-made titles. File names, scene codes and scraped tag lists (“Scene_0423_FINAL.mp4”) are wasted rankings.
Don’ts
- No youth-coded or non-consent wording, ever. Words like “teen” plus school themes, “young-looking”, “little”, “schoolgirl”, step-family abuse framing, “drunk”, “sleeping”, “forced”, “hidden cam”, “leaked” get pages filtered by search engines and get sites dropped by ad networks, hosts and payment processors. Many of them describe illegal content. Filter titles automatically before publishing, in every language you publish in, and hold anything borderline for a human check.
- No all-caps, emoji spam or “HD 1080p NEW”; it reads as spam.
- No clickbait that the video doesn’t deliver. High bounce rates teach search engines your result is bad.
- No real-person claims you can’t back up (“celebrity”, lookalike names, ex-girlfriend stories).
Descriptions
Two or three sentences in natural language: who is in it, what happens, the setting. Mention the performer or category once, link to their page, and stop. A real description beats 40 tags.
Using AI to write titles
AI can rewrite thousands of titles quickly, and we use it for that. Three rules keep it safe: give the model facts (performer, category, scene notes) and tell it not to guess; run every output through the same banned-word filter as human titles; and spot-check a sample every day. Without the filter, models happily invent ages and situations that were never there.
Other languages
If a video’s original title is in Russian or Arabic, keep it on that language’s version of your site instead of auto-translating it into English. Translate English titles into the other languages, not the other way around.
